The Kennedy Forum, in partnership with the Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation, offer a 12-point agenda for achieving comprehensive reform of treatment and diagnosis for mental illness and substance use disorders. This nonpartisan platform outlines strategies that predict, mitigate and prevent mental health emergencies, placing greater emphasis on improved diagnosis and treatment for people living with behavioral health disorders.
The platform, which could dramatically improve the health and well-being of all Americans, will be formally announced as part of the Like-Minded Rally for Mental Health and Substance Use Reform, which will take place during the National Democratic Convention in Philadelphia.
