Patrick J. Kennedy, former U.S. Representative (D-RI), lead sponsor of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, and founder of The Kennedy Forum and of DontDenyMe.org, will address attendees at the Spring meeting of the Employee Assistance Roundtable Meeting, held April 10, 2019 at the Union Pacific Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Attendees will include professionals who manage internal EAP models for their corporations, companies, banks, railroads, government services, hospitals, universities, retail entities, construction and other types organizations. Collectively, members represent organizations that provide care to over 3,000,000 employees and their families across the globe. Kennedy will address mental health in the workplace and ways in which larger employers can support employees’ mental health and better access to care.
