Kennedy, former U.S. Representative (D-RI), lead sponsor of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008, and founder of The Kennedy Forum and of DontDenyMe.org, will address attendees at the Town & Country 2019 Philanthropy Summit taking place May 8 at Hearst Tower in New York City. According to Town & Country, this invite-only event will highlight topics including climate change, criminal justice reform, arts education, and the opioid crisis.
Kennedy will share his personal and professional journeys and his work advocating on behalf of those facing mental health and substance use disorders.
